The clip attaches really easily and stays securely on the slipper (as a result your child would have a hard time opening that clip and loosing the shoe). They are super soft in the soles - perfect start-up walkers. The shoes are orthopedic (have leather orthopedic arches) with leather lining inside and breathable leather innersole.
